Cleaner Macmasters Beach NSW 2251

Cleaners in Macmasters Beach 2251 - what is different here

A steep hillside above a surf beach is an unusual place to run a cleaning round, and Macmasters Beach in the 2251 postcode is exactly that. Houses climb the slope behind the sand, many reached by long flights of external steps, and a large share of them are holiday houses rather than permanent homes. The work follows: changeover cleans between guests through summer and the school holidays, opening-up cleans for owners arriving for a weekend, and regular fortnightly visits for permanent residents. Salt and sand get into everything, and in some houses the timber decks and screens take more of the visit than the interiors do.

Marine Parade runs along the beachfront with the residential streets stacked above it, and there is no easy way around the terrain: parking is on the street, and the walk from the vehicle to the front door can be several flights of steps. That is the main thing shaping how long a job takes. Bouddi National Park wraps the southern side, so bush litter is added to the salt and sand, and the eucalypt drop stains decking if it is left there. Copacabana adjoins to the north with Avoca Beach beyond it, and Saratoga and Green Point sit inland. Houses here are often closed up for weeks, which is why musty air and mould in wardrobes are common complaints.

Changeover timing is the tightest constraint in the village. Over summer nearly every let here checks out and back in on the same day, so slots are limited and go early. If you host, a standing booking for the season is far more workable than trying to secure individual dates, and it means we can hold the window between checkout and check-in rather than compete for it against every other property on the hill.
